What is Board and Training?

Board & Train at Hyped Hounds is a highly effective training option where your dog stays with us for a designated period, receiving daily, one-on-one training sessions. This immersive approach allows your dog to learn and reinforce new skills in a consistent and controlled environment.

Throughout the week, your dog will participate in structured play, socialization, and intensive training, ensuring they return home with a solid foundation of obedience and good behavior.

Owners receive personalized video updates twice a week, homework to reinforce training over the weekends, and follow-up lessons to maintain progress after the program.

Can’t keep your dog over the weekend? No problem! We will convert the weekends to training days with us.

Hyped Hounds’ Board & Train programs offer a comprehensive approach to dog training, providing your dog with focused, one-on-one sessions in a comfortable home environment. Puppy Foundations

For puppies 12 weeks to 5 months

  • 10 Days (M-F)

  • $1,459

    50% non-refundable deposit due at time of booking. Remaining balance due on the first day of training.

    We accept cash, credit card, and Paypal Credit

    • Markers (a form of effective communication similar to clicker training)

    • Luring commands: Sit, Down, Place, Heel Position

    • Potty Training Resources and Schedule

Off-Leash Freedom

For dogs ready for complete A-Z training and off-leash control (dogs with severe behavior issues are not eligible)

    • Major emphasis on taking your dog out in public and generalizing skills to new places

    • Structured playtime and socialization

    • Personalized video updates twice a week

    • Dog stays M-F, with a lesson at the end of each week (unless plans are made for us to keep them every weekend)

    • Homework for the owner every weekend (unless plans are made for us to keep them every weekend)

    • All necessary tools included (place bed, leash, collar, etc.)

    • 1-hour in-home transitional lesson

    • Two follow-up lessons

    • Access to back-to-school refreshers

Pricing & Payment

At Hyped Hounds, we strive to make our Board & Train programs as accessible as possible while ensuring you receive top-quality training for your dog.

Deposit & Payment Structure:

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: To secure your dog’s spot in one of our exclusive Board & Train programs, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total training fee. This deposit guarantees your dog’s place in our limited-slot program.

  • Final Payment: The remaining 50% of the training fee is due on the first day of your dog’s training.

Flexible Payment Options:

  • PayPal Credit: We accept PayPal Credit, which typically offers 6-month interest-free payment plans. This option allows you to spread out the cost of training over several months, making it easier to invest in your dog’s future without immediate financial strain.

Back-to-School Refresher Training

We often get the question, “What if my dog needs a little refresher between or after training programs?”

Our Back-to-School Refresher is perfect for maintaining your dog’s training and manners. This one-day program reinforces the commands your dog has already learned, keeping their skills sharp and behavior in check. It’s an easy and effective way to ensure your dog stays on track.

  • Yes, all dogs must be up to date on their vaccines and free of fleas and parasites. Please email vaccination records and proof of a negative fecal test within the last three months.

    Vaccines your dog should have:
